You have seen many remarkable milestones on your journey in the arena of world cinema. Right from Kurosawa’s ‘Dream’… Carlo Saura’s ‘Tango’… Bergman’s ‘The Seventh Seal’… Klaus Maria’s ‘Maphisto’… James Cameron’s ‘Titanic’… Ang Lee’s ‘Life of pi’… Satyajit Ray’s ‘Pather Panchali and many more, the list is too big to count. Now the reality is that none of these breath holding films could get success on the screen until and unless you bestowed your faith on the legendary creators and their creations by moving yourselves to the auditorium and applauded with exclaiming recognition.
The past glories have to shine back again and we are destined to make it happen. We have chosen Rabindranath Tagore as our subject for our next film after a long trail of sailing over the oceanic life of the poet to make an effort to understand its unfathomable depth of creativity. We have loved the ocean and found its divine grace even when the night fell upon the murmuring waves.
It is very difficult to uphold our story within a few lines of narration, because we can’t pour the ocean in a cup of coffee. Here, we have tried to bring down some reflections of the sun on the pages of this book to honour your esteemed interest on the subject. We believe, if you please enter inside the book and go through the contents, an untold episode of poet’s life would occupy the realm of your mind without knocking the door.
We have decided to portray the story on the screen for a full length feature film. With a strong desire to reach to the maximum audience, nationally and internationally we have already designed the script in Hindi language. The chordal structure of the storytelling would be maintained without any falsification and distortion of fact. Off course, the wish of the imagination, in usual course, might spread their wings, somewhere in the story, to reach to your artistic consciousness taking the creative liberty of the filmmaker.
